Steinn Logi Björnsson Icelandic, b. 1999
“Steinn Logi blends painting, performance, and sculpture with playful sincerity, examining the ties between humans and nature through humor, tenderness, and bold color.”
Steinn Logi (b. 1999) is an Icelandic visual artist who graduated from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2023, including an exchange semester at the Athens School of Fine Arts. His practice centers primarily around painting - using oil and watercolor - but also extends into performance and sculpture.
Steinn explores the interplay between humans and nature, often through a lens of humor and emotional nuance. Since graduating, he has held two solo exhibitions in Copenhagen and Reykjavík and participated in a number of group and duo shows. His work captures a lively, often poetic perspective, where joy, absurdity, and contemplation coexist.
