Our booth presentation invites viewers to question the boundaries between the real and the imagined, the tangible and the abstract. Featuring works by Auður Lóa Guðnadóttir, Lilja Birgisdóttir, and Anna Maggý, the presentation explores transformation and perception: Can garbage become something unexpectedly valuable? Can a cat exist beyond its physical form? Does a distorted human body still retain its humanity?
Lilja redefines waste, giving discarded materials new life through mixed media. Auður Lóa’s whimsical sculptures play with familiar symbols, shifting their meaning. Anna Maggý distorts the human form, questioning identity through abstraction. Together, these artists transform the familiar into something new, sparking a dialogue on perception, materiality, and meaning.
